Not only are we faced with terrorism on heightened levels, but natural disasters and the potential for pandemic have escalated to frightening planes. The same truth-is-stranger-than-fiction phenomenon has accompanied Joel Rosenberg's novels.

His fictionalized accounts of the demise of Saddam Hussein (The Last Jihad) and Yasser Arafat (The Last Days) had elements borne out in eerie similarity to the headlines of the last few years. Eternal Forces, the highly-anticipated PC game based on the blockbuster fiction series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, went on pre-sale at more than 3,500 locations across the country.
